My Wednesday

Today was a pretty long day. After lunch I had to take my chemistry test. I was really nervous about it all morning. I started my test at one and turned it in at two when Dr. Wilson started asking for them. I didn't finish one of the problems and I'm not really sure how I did on the other questions that we had to work out. Our chem tests have about half mutiple choice and half workout problems. I feel pretty confident I got the multiple choice but a few of the workout problems I'm not sure about, but my professor gives a lot of partial credit so I hope that helps out. So far my grades in there have been on the up and up. My last test I made a 93 and I'm hoping for a higher A on this one. After my test I went to my room to work on my chem project for lab tomorrow. We had to choose a form of the periodic table and make a powerpoint for it. My lab partner and I finished it over skype! Oh how I love technology! I still have a few touch ups to do before class tomorrow but for the most part I think we got it done. On the other hand, I have a very large, information overloaded test on Friday for Old Testament. I've looked over a little bit of it, but I had to get my Biology quiz done for class tomorrow. So I just finished that down at Jordan Berger's dorm, and now I'm back in my warm room. The weather has finally caught up with the time of year. In fact it smells like snow outside!!! Yes I said snow (my wishful thinking)!!! Oh well hopefully soon! Oh I must tell about lunch with Jamie today. Jamie and I saw what we thought were tater tots, so we got in line to get some. Well to our surprise we have been calling those little rods of goodness the wrong name. Apparently here at NGU, they are called "Potato Puffs". Yes I do have a picture of the nutritional sheet!!!Jamie and I found it very amusing. Anyways, this is me rambling on and on in the place of studying. I should really get to work so I can get in bed soon, and maybe wake up to snow??? A girl can dream!

November 2, 2010

Here I am at college, a Biology major and starting a blog. I never thought I would do this but after spending the afternoon with some friends I have decided to try this out. Brooke Wilson, one of my very good friends here at school and Jordan Berger, who doesn't like burgers depsite her last name, were reading a blog to me. After they read a few posts Brooke and I decided that we wanted to make one. So here I am, at 11:35 starting a blog. This blog will be a place where I record my thoughts, aggravations or pure joys from my days, weeks, and years of accomplishing the task at hand. I am a Biology major at North Greenville University where I have only made it this far because of my friends. People like Jason Han, Jamie Duggan, and Brooke Wilson who put up with my stressing over tests and my late night calls for help! This first semester has been such an experience. A fun yet challenging experience. I am learning what it really means to study and learn material for a class and not just cram it in the night or morning of a test! Today we made shirts to wear for our chemistry test tomorrow! We also had a study group at Jason's apartment! I think we are all so excited to show this chemistry test who's boss! Bring it on chemistry I will plug and chug you away!
